Hey Doug! Long time, no hear! Don't worry about that, though - I didn't get the chance to visit the site for a couple of months myself, I was so busy with the twins. Speaking of which, they will be 10 months old on July 18th! I can't believe how big they're getting!! We look back at pictures of them a few months ago and we see a world of difference. It really is amazing to see these little precious angels grow! Also, I don't know if you read the post I submitted on here a couple of weeks ago, but I caught Luke's band Tater in Charleston, West Virginia, a couple of weeks ago and he told me that he and Roger Padgett have discussed having a reunion show with the surviving members of Animal Bag and God's Water! I want to stress that it is just an idea that they have tossed out there and nothing is definite by any means, but that would be absolutley killer! I hope it can happen! Well, hate to run, but I've got my drum lesson in about 15 minutes and then I have to pick up the wife and kids. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,

Scott Alan Jones

Hey dude!
Great to hear from you! I cannot believe it has been 10 months!
Thats fantastic bro! Enjoy the precious moments cause they grow up so fast.
Mine are all teenagers now. 16,14 and 13. Man,where does the time go?
Hey, I did read your post and I have been wanting to ask if anything definite
happens, would you give me a shout if they decide to stop anywhere near
Nashville? I would really like to see the guys live.
Say hello to the wife and twins for me.
You guys take care.
Til next time,
Doug

Hey Doug! Thanks for the kind words. If an Animal Bag reunion gig does happen, it would probably be in Charlotte, North Carolina. At least, that's what Luke told me when Aimée and I saw Tater a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how many miles Charlotte is from Nashville, but I'd be willing to gas up for a road trip to catch that show! Unfortunately for me, I never got the chance to catch Animal Bag live, even though I was (and still am) a rabid fan of theirs. Luke said they would try to get Jeff Hale to guest on drums (I hear that Jeff and Boo were really good friends and Jeff has Boo's old drums and cymbals). I'm hoping to hear a progress report in the next few weeks. I saw on Tater's website that they're playing Julie J's in Charleston, West Virginia, again on August 4th and I'm hoping to catch them live that night (if they don't bump me to midnights at my job!) If we're able to go, I'll talk to Luke and see if there is any news to report. Tell your kids I said, "Hello!" and I'll be sure to tell Aimée and the Coralyn and Chloe you said the same!

Later dude!

Just thought I would pop in and say hello and hope every one is doing well.
I could probably make a trip to Charlotte. It is not but a few hours from Nashville.
I really appreciate the response. Sorry it takes me a while to get back here and post.
It has really been a crazy month.
Much love to Aimee and the twins.
Peace,
Doug

Scott,
hope this finds you and your family doing well. WHEW! Another crazy month!
Just finished installing a new fan motor in my air conditioner for the house a little bit ago. Couple o' days in the 100's(in the house.YIKES!) I am so glad to get that done!
Man, it was so great though the way things worked out. My good friend found a fan motor for me and my neighbor got $200 donated to her for us by one of her co workers cuz they heard her say we needed to fix our a/c! Got my a/c fixed and 200 smackers to boot! That 's gonna go to do some much needed work on my wife's car.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
talk to u later,
Doug
