| I don't want to get everybody worked up into a lather over this - and I do want to stress that what I'm about to say is just an idea that has been proposed and nothing is set in stone - My wife and I caught Luke's band Tater in Charleston, West Virginia, last week and Luke told me that there could possibly be a reunion show or two with the surviving members of Animal Bag along with the original members of God's Water! As I stated earlier, it's an idea that Luke and Roger have entertained a little and I have no idea if Rich and Otis have been contacted or if any of the God's Water guys have been contacted either, but that would be a killer show to get on DVD if it were to happen! Maybe if the planets align just right, it just might happen... |

That would be great, I have not herd to much about this and talked to some of the guys, but think it would be a good thing.
Problem is it would take some serious practicing on the part of the band, some of the Animal Bag tunes were not that easy to get down live, and it would not be to easy to just get together and run through a set. Back when Animal Bag was on the road regularly, they could run through these sets so well it was just amazingly tight. |

I agree with you 100%. I'm sure if they did a couple of rehearsals things would still be rough around the edges. That's understandable considering they haven't played together in nearly a decade. In my humble opinion, knowing that I got turned onto them back in 1992 when their debut album came out and I never got the chance to catch them live, just the thought that they might get together to play a couple of shows gets me really excited! If the planets align just right and this does happen, if I cannot attend the show in person, I hope that God in heaven allows somebody to capture it on DVD where upon I can purchase it and wtach it to my haert's content! *laughs* In all seriousness, I really do hope it happens and would kill to catch them live just once. I would be a very happy man. I know that Rich and Otis have their own thing going on right now, which sounds pretty cool, and I hope that they would be receptive to revisiting Animal Bag a couple of times for old times sake. All you have to do is point your browser to www.tatertime.com and you can view their upcoming schedule and they also have a link to their myspace page. Their sound is best described as bluegrass/country/rock or, as they call it, hillbilly speedgrass rock 'n' roll! Definitely check them out live because they put on a great show!
