I just heard the extremely depressing news that Richie (Rich) Parris has passed away, he will be missed. I grew up down the street from Richie and his family, his sister and I were best friends as were his parents best friends with my parents. He was like an older brother to me and I have nothing but great memories of him from as early as I can remember until the last time I saw him when he, Jimmy Brown and I went camping in Lineville Gorge, NC. As I type this I have a mental photo album of him running through my head.....he is grinning in each and every picture like a Cheshire cat! May we always remember the good times, remember them often, and keep him in our hearts and minds.
